On this blessed day (12, Rabi ul Awal 1447 A.H), we join Muslims in Somolu Local Government and across the globe to honor the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), whose profound importance and exceptional legacy can never be extinguished.
This significant day, which marks the remembrance of the birth of the most pious and humble being to ever live, serves as a powerful reminder of his life, teachings, and identity as the best of his kind. He was absolutely committed to peace, righteousness, and compassion.
Prophet Muhammad was a devoted, honest, and extraordinary man who always led with fairness and justice. Ordained to teach and nurture, he exemplified the art of valuable and productive leadership with the Holy Quran—the book that differentiates right from wrong, and calls people to stand firm with Almighty Allah, the First and the Last.
To this day, the Prophet’s sacred message of one clear path to the Supreme Creator—Almighty Allah—continues to guide passionate believers and inspire billions, illuminating a realm of virtue and devotion for generations.
It gladdens our hearts for the Prophet’s remembrance to fall on the sacred day of Jummah. His presence, reign, and departure throughout his 63 years of existence are an iconic and true representation of an Islamic leader, who embodies a wide range of virtues.
We pray that Almighty Allah shower His unyielding mercy, favour, and unlimited blessings upon the Prophet, his households, his companions, and Muslim generations around the world.
To our Muslim brothers and sisters, the Prophet may be no more, but it’s important we do not deviate from the substantial foundation he laid for all.
Let’s endeavour to make the best of this holiday, give to the needy, vulnerable and show massive love to our neighbours and the Ummah wherever they dwell. May Almighty Allah accept our supplications and guide our affairs nonstop. Aameen.
