The newly sworn in Councillor representing Ward C3 in Odi-olowo Ojuwoye Local council Development Area Honourable Zainab Shotayo died 22 days after she was sworn in.
Newconnect reports that Zainab a 29 year old was the youngest and only female among the councilors representing the LCDA.She was recently elected as the Chief Whip of the Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye Legislative Arm.She told Newsconnect correspondents in an interview at her swearing in that;”I am so much blessed to be in their midst because they are such an amazing people.
Though they are very much older than me, but they relate with me like I am from their mother’s womb. Like we have known each other for a very long time.”So I am always relaxed when am in their midst, I am always happy and I always like having them around”. She saidThe Executive Chairman Honourable Seyi.Jakande has directed all activities at the council’s ICT workstations to be suspended for the day as the council is bereaved.
