The Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Hon. Adewale Phillips Adelana, popularly known as Walon.

Almaroof-Oloyede while mourning the demise, described him as a grassroots mobiliser, a brilliant strategist, and a loyal party stalwart who served the All Progressives Congress (APC) with unwavering commitment across all levels of government.

In a release issued by his media office, the chairman commiserated with the family, APC in the local government, noting that the deceased played pivotal roles in strengthening the party, both within and beyond the local government.

He described him as a dependable ally and an asset whose wisdom, experience, and contributions to the growth of the party were immeasurable and impactful, while stating that the vacuum left behind by his demise will be difficult to fill, especially at a time when his experience and guidance were still much needed.

Otunba Almaroof-Oloyede prayed for God to comfort those left behind and to grant Hon. Adewale Phillips Adelana eternal rest. He concluded by saying that Walon’s legacy of service, loyalty, and grassroots engagement will remain a source of inspiration to current and future generations.
