Defying the heavy downpour of rain, supporters and lovers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) trooped into the ancient town of Iberekodo at the venue of the7 Community Primary School in a show of support for the two Chairmanship candidates of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and Lekki LCDA, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa and Hon. Razaq Bamidele Kasali and all the Councillors representing the combined 11 (eleven) wards.
The monumental mega rally which was just more than a show of numbers, was a moment of solidarity display and collaborative endorsement of both candidates. With banners flying high and achievements boldly celebrated with various wards and their members, all voiced their unflinching support for Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa. Dignitaries that glorified the moment with their presence includes, a chieftain and member of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), Alhaji Akani Seriki (Bamu Authority), Rt. Hon. Sabit Adeyemi Ikuforiji,Yeye Olayinka Olusanya, Member, House of Representatives, Hon. Bayo Balogun, Chief Whip Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojeed Fatai Adebola, Special Adviser to the Governor on Taxation and Revenue, Hon. Abdul-Kabir Opeyemi Ogungbo, Special Adviser to the Governor on Energy and Mineral Resources, Hon. Abiola Olowu, Hon Muslim Folami, Hon. Idowu Eletu, APC State Exco member, Hon. Balogun Olugbenga Kazeem.
The electrifying moment was the grand entry of the Apex leaders as His Excellency, Alhaji Bode Kashif Oyedele, Dr. Odutola Kasali and Alhaji Tunde Isiaq with their appearance, added more glamour to the event. Party Stalwarts and leaders who spoke at the event conveyed a similar message, and that is ensuring massive turnout ahead of the July 12 Polls.
As chants of Jaja and RBK rent the air, it was clear that the rally was more than a campaign but a movement that seeks continuity, experience and trusted knowledge to pilot the affairs of both Council Areas for the next four years. Come Saturday, July 12th, 2025, votes will not just be cast for its sake, but to defend progress and continuity as APC Ibeju-Lekki has shown that it is not just a party of promises but of performance and fulfillment.
