In his promise towards bridging the gap of lack of access to land and space for farmers to practice Agriculture optimally in Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA, the Chairmanship candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) in the forthcoming local council election on the 12th of July Honourable Bola Oladunjoye is set to partner with Ikorodu, Badagry and Epe Local Governments Development Area respectively if elected as the Chairman.

Newsconnect reports that Bola at a press conference organised by his campaign team ahead of the flagoff of his campaign, among other things emphasized the importance of Agricultural revolution and subsidized food for his people in Ikoyi-Obalende.
In his words, he said;
“In the issue of Food security, Ikoyi-Obalende lacks what I call land and space to grow crops and cattle rearing etc.
“We intend to partner with Ikorodu and Badagry local governments who have arable lands for farming. We will provide what we have , justaposed with the things they have and make success of the Agricultural revolution. We want to subsidize food for our people,
“We will do our best to partner with fellow local governments, to see how food can be subsidized for our people and bridge the gap of food insecurity.
“This is to actualize one of the responsibilities the Lagos State APC chairman Pastor Ojelabi mentioned at the statekeholders parley few days ago at Marina to give dividend of democracy to the grassroots”. He said
The Campaign ‘ELEVATE’ is the acronym of the plans Bola has for the people of Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA if elected come July 12th.
Environment, Livelihood, Education, Access to infrastructure, togetherness, etc.
Bola at the press conference in APC constituency office in Ikoyi said his people should thank the government of President Bola Tinubu for his support of local government financial autonomy.
“It is a very big step in the right direction for us because what we need to focus on is that with this financial autonomy, we would improve the general income generation for the LCDA.
“In terms of what we will do differently , we just have to build on what is done now. If we build on it and build on it, we make progress. There is no doubt the present chairman has laid a foundation that we can build upon, and we are going to seize this opportunity to understand that challenges are challenges, they are not totally insurmountable.
“We will do our best, to make sure we improve on the things that have been done, and be creative with our own sense of direction. Every administration will always have priorities, we will priorise our priorities, and we will build on the success of this administration”. He said.
